You might have read about my previous weddings in my blog . Remember Norwegian bride Kine, Hilde’s wedding and Miori & Matt’s wedding? This time I thought I’d make a short interview with Hannah, a bride that got married this summer in Barcelona. Here is her story :
– Why did you choose Barcelona as your wedding destination?
Barcelona was where Drew and I first met so is a special place for us. We also loved
the idea of extending the wedding celebrations over a whole weekend with family and
friends staying a few nights to make the most of travelling abroad.
–How did you get in contact with Absolutely Gorgeous BCN?
I was first put in contact with Catrin via our wedding planner (Clare Doane at
Barcelona Wedding) – we subsequently liaised over email before meeting for my hair
and make-up trial a few months before the wedding. We then exchanged emails/photos
in the run up to the wedding.
– What look did you have in mind to go for for your wedding?
Relaxed, natural looking, bronzed – gold/shimmery eye make-up, hair up with loose curls
– Were you happy with the result?
Absolutely! I didn’t want to be one of those brides that didn’t look like themselves
as their make-up was so different. Catrin got my look just right – I felt glamorous
without looking like I had tried too hard.
– Would you recommend other couples to get married in Barcelona, and would you recommend other brides to use Catrin and Absolutely Gorgeous BCN?
A million percent! Getting married abroad created a really relaxed atmosphere (not
being able to get hung up on all the little details) and meant that we could spend a
whole weekend celebrating with family and friends all together in an amazing location (Gran Hotel La Florida). Catrin was an integral part of the day (spending six hours with me and the bridesmaids getting ready!) and I would definitely recommend her to other brides.
